Dr. Linda Chatters and Dr. Tonya Kneff-Chang grew up in different decades, in different parts of the country, and in different kinds of families but both ended up at Mt. SAC.

It’s not uncommon for a Mt. SAC student to be following a Mountie family tradition. Once one family member attends the College, others tend to follow. The school is contagious. The Torres siblings are no different. All three attended Mt. SAC and found paths there that helped them build strong foundations for their futures.

The growth and clarity that Lauren was able to achieve at Mt. SAC has turned her into a Mt. SAC evangelist.

From growing up in Chino Hills to attending Mt. SAC to starting their wildly successful court reporting business, identical twin sisters Whitney Kumar and Kamryn Villegas are typical Mountie alumnae, which of course means they are anything but typical.

Erica has been supervising the WIN for twenty years now, and she can’t imagine doing anything else with her life.

Bryce and Jerrica (née Morales) Gordon both grew up in the Mt. SAC area and were drawn to the school because of its aviation program. Bryce wanted to be a pilot, and Jerrica was a budding aviation fan. Neither could have guessed how much the College would impact both their personal and professional lives.

I work as a software engineer at Microsoft in Seattle.

When it came time for dancer Dove Dellos-Kilde to choose a college back in 1996, she intended to earn a business degree while pursuing her true passion—dance—on the side. She had no idea that at Mt. SAC, she’d find a dance family she’d carry with her for the rest of her life.

During the stay home circumstances dictated by the COVID-19 public health crisis, artists of all kinds are finding innovative ways to continue their crafts and share their talents with the world. Mt. SAC alumna Lia Booth is no different.
