What is Studio13?
Studio13 is a multimedia design studio within the Arts Division that allows students to gain work experience in an educational environment. Students work on a variety of projects for clients on campus in a collaborative environment and receive mentorship and instruction throughout their internships. Our work experience program supports students in graphic design, illustration, photography, and video production.
The studio was created in response to a significant barrier that students face when entering the workforce; entry level jobs in the creative industry generally seek candidates who have two years of work experience. The studio allows students to earn that experience while working toward a certificate or degree so that they are competitive when applying for jobs as soon as they finish college.
