The study of biology has transformed the modern world. Innovations in agriculture, biotechnology, ecology, and medicine all start with this subject. Biologists make the world a better place. With this award we seek to support a student who will use their degree to make the world and local community a better place. Community college students often face hardships that can affect school performance. A perfect GPA is not necessary to receive this award- just a great work ethic and a commitment to serve others.
