What are you doing now?

I’m a pediatric occupational therapist who helps children maximize their functional occupational performance. I work on client factors that inhibit them from independence. This can range from decreased neuromotor strength, decreased self regulation, praxis issues and other cognitive delays.

How did your Mt. SAC experience impact your journey?

While at Mt. Sac, I competed on the Speech and Debate Forensics team. This really served as a catalyst for my interpersonal communication skills and public speaking skills. I feel it is the edge I have held in most job settings as well a graduate school: to be able to boldly and calmly speak to people.
